About.

Lucinda Rogers is an illustrator well known for drawing everyday scenes from New York. She has also documented Ground Zero and has recently begun sketching London.

At Victor Auto Service.

This piece appears to have been done using ink. I really like how it is done because the thicker, darker lines draw your eyes in to the image and the car becomes your main focus. You then notice the man and then the surrounding building.

At the rear of the Nicholls & Clarke building, Norton Folgate.

This definitely looks like ink and charcoal. For some reason to me, the presence of the charcoal makes it look like it is raining, though I'm sure it is probably used to represent the uncleanliness of this area.

West over Spitalfields.

It is clear that Rogers medium of choice is ink. Here she has painted portions of her picture orange. It has the appearance of early morning and I think this is due to the lighter area at the back. It makes the rest of the houses look like they are in shadow.
